BACKGROUND

Resource was founded in 1995 by professionals with experience in IT, operations, consulting, & recruitment / staffing. Today, Resource has a team of over fifty operating out of offices in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune and services the recruitment needs of over hundred companies in India and abroad.

OUR PROCESSES

Resource has robust processes & tools to facilitate sourcing, validating and evaluating profiles to deliver candidates of the required skills and calibre to its clients. Our processes are metrics driven - we have developed indices for skills transportability, resource transportability, employability and also bench-marks for various parameters that are used to evaluate potential candidates.

Research - We have a well-defined process for identifying target companies where the skills required are available. The various companies are evaluated and continuously monitored to check if they have the human resources with the skills and potential that can be transported to client companies. Information & feedback provided by our clients and independent experts is also used to grade the companies. The companies are graded and a "resource transportability" index is created for each company relative to each client.

Candidate evaluation - Candidates' CVs are checked to establish their technical skills, experience and personal qualities on paper. We validate the CVs by the academic background of the candidate, the company they work for, their career record, their experience profile in terms of roles, responsibilities, skills and accomplishments and compute the "employability index" and "skills transportability index" for each candidate. Only candidates who measure up to the standards of our clients are considered for detailed evaluation.

Candidates are interviewed by a qualified recruiter to verify if the person can live up to their CVs. However, we only conduct high-level screening using check-lists and question-banks; we do not do in-depth interviews.

Tools - Resource has developed several software tools that help in managing high volumes of CVs, coordinating effectively with the candidates and in organising / converting unstructured resume databases into structured databases for quick & efficient retrieval.

We have a team of professionals with post-graduate or professional qualifications in Management, Engineering, Accounting, Information Systems, and Social Sciences. The combined experience of the team covers all functional disciplines and in diverse businesses Automobile, Accounting, Chemicals, Engineering, FMCG, Garments, Information Technology, Management Consulting, Plastics, Services and Textiles.

Ravindra K.

Ravi is an Engineer with Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM, Bangalore with over twenty years experience. Prior to Resource, Ravi worked with one of India's top automobile companies and a leading Management Consulting company.Ravi has executed a variety of assignments in Information Systems, Operations, Compensation Survey and Design, and Recruitment & Executive Search for a variety of companies automotive, chemicals, computer hardware, food, garments, liquor, and software.

Rajeshwar A. S.

An Engineer with Post-Graduate qualification in Management from BIM, Trichy. He has over fifteen years experience in Systems, Operations Management and Recruitment. Prior to Resource, he worked with a diversified Indian company and a leading Management Consulting company. Rajeshwar has handled assignments in the area of operations management, information systems and executive search. He has exposure to automotive, banking, chemicals, engineering, and textiles and service industries.

Ganapathy M.A.

Ganapathy is a Chartered Accountant with over twenty years' experience with large accounting and audit firms in the fields audit, taxation, compensation structuring, and financial consulting. He has extensive experience in investigative reviews and design & implementation of Costing & Accounting systems for various large organisations.

Prabhu Lakshmanan

Prabhu is an Engineer with twenty years of experience in Production, Operations Management, Materials & Supply Chain Management and in recruiting.

Poonam Bhasin

Poonam is a graduate with over eight years' experience in account management, sales, operations management and recruiting. Prior to Resource she has worked with a leading advertising company and a training company.
